it takes the same amount of effert to kill 10 mobs as it does to kill 1 mob, thats pretty mh the only thing Prot has going for it. however, if youant find 10 mobs to kill at oe,
there is little point. questing was never good for prot. prot was all about "grinding". for questing, your better off with another sp.
Questing as prot isn't as fast as any real 'dps'lass, but it does help
if you use max spell dam gear as you don't need to be uritableurushable for normal mobs. I run dailys with about 700 spell dam and they go plenty fast, although you do end up drinking a bit more. Well maybe not the frequey, just takes longer as i have 9k mana in prot spell dam gear instead of 5k mana as ret.
It's norm. I have the same problem. Just one of thoes things about being Prot I guess.
Yeah those duel wielding blood elves at the ruins of karabor (right hand side of BT) are a great ple to go and grind gold. Oe you get some good tanking gear (try to find lots
of blk rating and spell damage gear) youan really go to town on groups of 8-9omfortably. Just beareful for those elites that patrol around. They'll just slow you down.
Respced to Ret for SSO quests. Toured the world to get the new blue PvP rep set, bought a blue 2H off the AH and finallyan kill the broken blood elves in 15 sonds instead of 40 + drinking. Nehange, although it pretty mh rules out running MgT.
Alastaironsiren wrote:Respced to Ret for SSO quests. Did the same thing. My guild is fusing solely on BT and getting their first Illidan kill, so I really have little to nohae of getting into their raids with myurrent gear.ouple weeks of running around as Ret, while
it was super easy to puh out the dailies, frankly sked. No one wanted me in their group eept this one Kara PuG (I think onlyause the leader knew I was a good tank, so took me being Ret). If
I wanted that treatment all the time, I'd make my Enhaement Shaman my main :( Bk to Prot now, and I must say, I missed almost everything about it: everything that is eept how slow I kill things ...
